This is a poor photo, yet I find it it important to upload it here. It can be clearly seen that one out of four ducks is different and except the left most other three are Common Pochards. The left most individual posses head with greenish cast, pale eye that contrasts with the head coloration, dark back, buff upper flanks, white lower flanks and belly (not visible in this photo) suggests that it is Baer's Pochard. The other relatively common species with which it can be confused is Ferruginous duck and Tufted duck (both having pale eyes), but this individual lacks the typical dark chestnut color of Ferruginous duck and dark color of tufted duck drake. It can also be confused with tufted duck hen but this individual in the picture posses head and neck that contrasts with the body color (character that sticks to Baer's Pochard) which is rather uniform brown in tufted duck hens.
