Chatarrhaea longirostris - Slender-billed Babbler
This species is rare. It inhabits lowland grasslands, up to the height of 2,000m, in India (mainly in Meghalaya and Assam), Nepal, Myanmar, and Bangladesh. It breeds during March-June (BirdLife International 2016).

According to the IUCN Red List Assessment, the population of this species is declining, with the current population estimate of 1,500-7,000 individuals. The threat to its persistence habitat disturbance due to large-scale agriculture and burning of grasslands for better growth during its breeding season (BirdLife International 2016).
